Jeff DeGroot Joins Staff

GLSA is proud to announce Jeff DeGroot will be joining the Coaching Staff. Jeff comes to us from the Professional club, Dayton Dutch Lions of USL PRO, who were recent Quarertfinalists in the US Open Cup. He as played for Bridges FC, which toured Europe, training and playing against professional clubs such as Dutch sides Heerenveen and Vitesse. He attended Division I DePaul University, part of their Big East Red Division Championship season and NCAA Tournament appearance. In addition, Jeff played locally for Ela Elite, which were USASA U23 National Champions and Illinois State Select- Men's Amateur National Champions. Jeff has coached for Schwaben AC and holds the USYS D License. We look forward to Jeff offering valuable experience, knowledge and talent to our staff, club and players.
